The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) was signed into law on July 26, 1990. The ADA makes it illegal to discriminate against people with disabilities in all facets of American life, including housing, access to public spaces, and employment.

The Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities (CCBDD) Cuyahoga is a part of the state of Ohio’s developmental disabilities’ system, and provides resources and services to individuals of all ages with a developmental disability who reside in Cuyahoga County. people of all ages who have a developmental disability and reside in Cuyahoga County. Cuyahoga DD is part of the state’s developmental disabilities’ system, the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities. 

The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) manages a statewide system of services that focus on safety, health, community participation, and greater opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities.

Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD )is a state of Ohio agency that determines disability status, and connects individuals with disabilities to the appropriate resources to allow them to gain independence and be active in the workforce. OOD also works with businesses to employ individuals with disabilities through the Division of Employer and Innovation Services.
