VGS employees make a difference in the community
Vocational Guidance Services has provided custodial employees to the Carl B. Stokes U.S. Courthouse in Cleveland for several years. During the COVID-19 pandemic, our employees have continued to contribute to the courthouse through not just their exceptional work; each has dedication, a good attitude and a sense of humor, essential qualities needed in times like these.
Angeles is a natural leader. During the COVID-19,she has been spearheading all projects at the Carl B. Stokes U.S. Courthouse. She has been an amazing help to the second shift supervisory staff. Angeles, not only brings skill and hard work to her job, she lifts the spirits of everyone around her feel her infectious joy.
Always positive and diligent, Deon has been a motivating force for his co-workers throughout the pandemic. He is the first to jump in and lend his hand to any project. Deon takes great pride in making the courthouse look great and he naturally makes it a better place with his positive attitude and great smile.
Tiffani just recently joined the team at the Carl Stokes Courthouse, but she carries herself as if she has been with the team for years. She regularly volunteers to help out her co-workers and is always ready to learn a new skill or tackle a new task. Tiffani has brought great energy to the courthouse and to her team.
Joshia is invaluable to our team, providing training to new employee. Training includes how to clean down to the smallest detail and familiarizing new staff members with essential procedures and policies of the U.S. courthouse. She frequently volunteers to come to work early to cover the assigned areas of her co-workers who are not able to make their shift. Joshia has an amazing attitude and a personality that makes everyone smile.
