Lori began her journey with Vocational Guidance Services as an associate at “Second Glance”, a resale store located in VGS’ E55th.
Her work experience included assisting customers and keeping the store’s merchandise well organized. “Second Glance” closed in March 2020, due to COVID-19 restrictions. Lori weighed her options with the assistance of VGS vocational rehabilitation staff and chose to complete assembly work in an E55th classroom. assembling brackets and packaging materials. She has progressed tremendously with assistance from our staff. She really enjoys her teammates and the support of VGS staff. She has made great progress and continues to develop her speed. Lori has learned how to complete jobs and enjoys spending time with her friends and staff. In her time at home, she enjoys spending time with her mom and playing computer games.
